There are many many MANY areas where we are looking for volunteers to help out with Project Comfort. Please look at our list down below and let us know if you would be willing to help us out in any specific job description.
Web Design
Someone with standard web design skills and a love for children are required.
Accounting/legal consultation
We are looking for someone with knowledge of legal issues when it comes to tax laws and the finances of a non-profit organization. This includes, but is not limited to, knowledge of the workings of a 501c3 account, the use of computer tax programs, the writing of receipts for donor tax write-offs, write-offs for the non-profit organization, etc.
Missionaries/Social Workers
We are looking for Social Workers who have a heart for working with children abroad. No missionary experience is required, however, is recommended. Tasks include surveying the needs of orphaned children and form solutions that would best work in the particular social environment. We are asking for volunteers to serve from 6 months to 1 year, however, a more flexible schedule can be worked out on an individual basis.
Public Relations/Communications/Marketing
We need people with experience in marketing or are going into the field of marketing to help build our supporters pool and keep our current supporters informed. Tasks would include the use of email, web publications, personal contact with potential and current donors, and direct input on event planning.
