Dandy's Story
. . . Dandy is a four month old baby girl born into wedlock. Though an innocent loving baby, she was unwanted because she brought shame to the family. Because of the shame Dandy’s mother was chastised by her family being disowned and treated like an animal. The teenaged mother became severely depressed to the point where she attempted to suffocate her baby. Apparently this is not uncommon in the rural areas of Ethiopia. By God’s grace . . .
